The Gunroom Restaurant is located within Plas Dinas Country House and offers an exceptional fine-dining experience through its distinctive hybrid tasting menu.
Once the home of Lord Snowdon and the Armstrong-Jones family, Plas Dinas combines the character of a true five-star boutique country residence with a house of considerable historic significance. The kitchen is headed by award-winning chef Daniel Ap Geraint, a finalist on BBC Two’s Great British Menu in 2025.
The restaurant has retained its place in the MICHELIN Guide since April 2022 and currently holds two AA Rosettes and a Notable Wine List. Its recent recognition includes AA Restaurant with Rooms of the Year for Wales 2025, The Good Hotel Guide’s Best Hotel in Wales 2026 and Best Place to Eat and Best Hotel in Wales at the 2025 Visit Wales National Awards.
